PassPing is designed with privacy in mind. Your gym pass data is stored locally on your device and never sent to our servers.
- Information We Collect
• Location data: Used solely to detect when you arrive at a gym you saved. Processed on-device only, never transmitted to us.
• Pass data you enter: Gym names, visit counts, expiry dates — stored locally using iOS system storage.
- Advertising
PassPing shows non-personalized ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., IP address) and general usage data for ad serving only. We do not use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for tracking. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Location Permissions
We request "Always Allow" location to enable background geofencing (notify you at the gym even when the app is closed). This location data is never sent to PassPing servers or shared with third parties (beyond AdMob's ad serving).
You can revoke this anytime in Settings → PassPing → Location.
- Data Storage
All pass data is stored locally on your device. No account required, no cloud sync.
- Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data, except Google AdMob for non-personalized ad delivery.
- Children's Privacy
PassPing is not directed at children under 13.
